Open group quad bike rides – join the adventure!
Want to go quad biking but don’t have a group to ride with? Join a MotoGuru open group ride! Forest trails, sand, mud and a shared adventure – a great opportunity to escape the everyday routine and try something new.
The ride is also suitable for beginners and anyone who has never ridden a quad bike before. Before setting off, we’ll introduce you to the quad bike’s controls and explain the safety rules.
Arrival and preparation
The meeting point, departure and return location is the MotoGuru rental point at Līdaku iela 7, Riga.
Please arrive one hour before the scheduled departure time, allowing plenty of time to complete the paperwork, choose your riding gear and attend the briefing.
At the start of the ride, we will cover approximately 5 km on public roads, so the quad bike driver must hold a category B driving licence. Remember to bring it with you!
What happens during the ride?
Once everyone is ready, we’ll set off along the route accompanied by our instructors. Our first stop is planned at a sandy enduro track after approximately 30 minutes of riding.
During this break, you can choose to test your skills on the sand circuit or take a breather, relax and watch the other riders. Riding on the sand track is optional, so beginners can also take part at a pace that suits them.
After the break, we’ll continue the ride and return to our rental point at the end of the route. You can watch the video in the gallery at the top of the page.
What should you wear and bring?
Choose clothing suited to the weather that you don’t mind getting dirty – expect sand, mud and splashes of water during the ride.
In colder weather, we recommend wearing:
- a warm autumn or winter jacket;
- long trousers, preferably windproof and water-resistant;
- sturdy boots that cover your ankles;
- gloves – warm winter work gloves are also a good option in colder weather.
We recommend bringing drinking water and a dry change of clothes, especially if rain or wet trail conditions are expected.
Helmets and additional riding gear
The rental includes one helmet for the driver. If you are riding with a passenger, a helmet is also included for them.
Additional gear is available to rent if needed:
- jacket – €10;
- boots – €10;
- trousers – €10;
- gloves – €5;
- one-piece rain suit – €10.
